Rockstar Announces Manhunt 2 Wii Giveaway Sweepstakes

Rockstar Games has announced a partnership with Radio Rebellion Tour 2007 for a Manhunt 2 sweepstakes. All you have to do to enter is go to the contest page and put in your name, e-mail, and address. That’s it. The winner will receive a 50″plasma screen TV and a Manhunt 2 branded Wii, which looks pretty much like a regular Wii splattered with blood. I don’t know if I want this sitting in my room.

Spider-Man: Friend or Foe hits Retail Stores Nationwide.

It’s time to experience the ultimate fighting team as Spider-Man unites with popular super-heroes and powerful super-villains from the movie trilogy and beyond in Spider-Man: Friend or Foe from Activision, Inc.. Throughout the game’s original story and thrilling battles, players are challenged to defeat and then join forces with notorious movie foes including Doc Ock, Green Goblin, Venom and Sandman, as well as others from the classic Spider-Man family of characters, and embark on a global quest to overcome an evil threat.

As the Spider-Man: Friend or Foe experience unravels, Spider-Man and his sidekicks unlock a variety of arenas and secret areas containing special tokens which allow players to revisit previously explored levels at any time as well as fortify their cache of collectables and power upgrades. Gamers can also replay levels as Spider-Man’s darker, more mysterious persona, Black-Suited Spider-Man, and experience a robust Versus mode, with multiple arenas, where players match up any two characters and battle it out to see who wins.

Spider-Man: Friend or Foe is available now for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and the Wii home video game system from Nintendo for a suggested retail price of $49.99, the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system and PSP (PlayStation Portable) system for $39.99, the Nintendo DS for $29.99 and the PC for $19.99. The game is rated “E10+”

The silicone cover for the Wiimote is completely free, and provides extra grip and cushioning to stop you damaging the hardware or accidentally launching it at unsuspecting friends.

“All Wii Hardware, Wii Remote and Wii Play shipped from today will include the Wii remote jacket. This should hit retail shelves in the UK and US in about seven days time.”

“People who already have a Wii can claim their Wii Remote Jacket(s) by going to the official website and filling out the request form. They will receive their Wii Remote Jackets within 28 days.”

Current Wii owners who want to equip their Wii Remotes with the new Wii Remote Jacket free of charge can go to Wii.com or nintendo.com, or call 1-866-431-8367 to place an order. The Wii Remote Jackets will begin shipping the week of Oct. 15.

(One of the worst titles they could have given this game) Produced for the Wii and Nintendo DS systems and includes 20 authentic Olympic events. Using the Wii Remote and Nunchuck control system, players can have an unparalleled interactive experience and compete using one of 16 characters – 8 from the world of Mario and 8 from the world of Sonic.
