Sierra announces that Empire Earth III is gold, and to expect the next installment in the real-time strategy series to show up in stores on November 6.
Sierra Entertainment, a division of Vivendi Games, announced today that Empire Earth III has gone gold and will be available on Windows PC November 6.
The pre-order campaign has already kicked-off at select retailers nationwide and features three exclusive unlockable units.
- Machine Mortar (Far East Region, Future Epoch) – A genetically engineered soldier that launches a devastating, area-affect salvo of shells
- Persian Mercenary (Middle East Region, Ancient Epoch) – An ambidextrous warrior armed with a pair of lethal blades
- Urban Special Forces (West Region, Modern Epoch) – A highly disciplined, well-armed Urban Special Operations soldier
Empire Earth III is a real-time strategy (RTS) videogame that places the entire globe at the touch of the fingertips making the earth a canvas for the strategy mind. Gamers will build and command an enduring global empire with the goal of World Domination. Empire Earth III is one of the few strategy games that offers players the scale and scope to take an empire from the ancient world to the far future.

Mass Effect has gone gold along with some preorder details.
Microsoft Game Studios and BioWare Corp. announced today that the highly anticipated action role-playing game (RPG) “Mass Effect†has gone gold, and will be offered in a limited collector’s edition. Additionally, an exclusive bonus disc will be offered to consumers who pre-order the game. The bonus disc is available at participating U.S. retailers while supplies last.
The limited collector’s edition will be offered through participating retailers, and will include the following bonus materials:
- “Mass Effect†fiction book titled “Galactic Codex: Essentialsâ€
- 36-page guide to the “Mass Effect†universe, including a Citadel timeline and a guide to all non-human races, biotics and the key locations in the Perseus arm of the galaxy
- An additional “Mass Effect†art book titled “A Future Imaginedâ€
- 36-page collection of BioWare’s concept art for the game
A bonus DVD of exclusive “Mass Effect†background material and additional content including:
- “The Vision of “Mass Effect†documentary
- “The Making of “Mass Effect†documentary

Microsoft Game Studios announced today that the eagerly-awaited “Gears of War†for Windows has gone gold and will hit retailers throughout North America on November 6th.
With the Xbox 360 version of the game selling more than 4 million copies to date, “Gears of War†has been lauded by critics for its gripping campaign and fast-paced multiplayer action. Windows gamers can look forward to the “Gears of War†experience for the very first time, and will get to choose between doing battle via mouse and keyboard, or using the Windows-enabled Xbox 360 controller. A Unofficial Hellgate London website is reporting Hellgate London has gone gold and a single player demo will be released tomorrow.
Demons of London beware… your reign of terror is coming to an end. Electronic Arts, Namco Bandai Games, and Flagship Studios are excited to announce that Hellgateâ„¢: London has gone to gold master and will be available exclusively for the PC on November 2nd in Europe.
“This has been an amazing journey for us and we couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve accomplished,” said Flagship Studios CEO, Bill Roper. “We’re anxious to get Hellgate: London into gamers’ hands and we can’t wait to play right along with them.”
And for gamers who can’t wait until November 2nd to get their Demon-slaying on, Flagship Studios is releasing a single player demo tomorrow, Thursday October 18th on AOL’s Game Daily (www.gamedaily.com). The demo will be available everywhere else from Friday.
The single player demo represents just a small taste of the Hellgate: London experience. Gamers can choose from two of the game’s six character classes: the Blademaster, a master of swordplay and action-packed melee combat, or the Marksman, a cool, calculating, long-range specialist. In the demo, these heroes are able to battle through a small handful of storyline and side quests as they adventure through the streets and tunnels around London’s Holborn Station.

And for gamers who can’t wait until Halloween to get their Demon-slaying on, Flagship Studios is releasing a singleplayer demo this Thursday, October 18th.
On a side note there is no mention of AOL’s Game Daily getting it today and everybody else getting it the 19th. I will update when we know more with demo download links.

Sierra announces that TimeShift is gold, and that Saber Interactive’s “M”-rated 4D shooter will ship on October 30. A PC demo was released last week, and there’s also demo on Xbox LIVE. Here’s word:
