Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom Goes Gold

Microsoft has announced that the Xbox 360 exclusive action-RPG Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom has gone gold. The latest game in the Kingdom Under Fire series from developer Blueside will ship to stores in the US on Jan. 8. Here is a snip:

A departure from the action real-time strategy formula seen in previous ‘Kingdom Under Fire’ games, Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom is an action-packed role playing game (RPG) that makes full use of the Xbox 360 processing power to create a revolutionary gaming experience. Players will explore vast and randomly generated maps while battling bloodthirsty monsters attacking from all directions. As the game progresses, the six heroes will find increasingly advanced and spectacular ways to defeat enemies using new weapons and abilities as they progress through six varied acts. Players will also be able to interact with one another with a full multiplayer experience and up to four-player co-op on Xbox LIVE Gold.

Empire Earth III Goes Gold and Ships

Sierra announces that Empire Earth III is gold, and to expect the next installment in the real-time strategy series to show up in stores on November 6.

Sierra Entertainment, a division of Vivendi Games, announced today that Empire Earth III has gone gold and will be available on Windows PC November 6.

The pre-order campaign has already kicked-off at select retailers nationwide and features three exclusive unlockable units.

• Machine Mortar (Far East Region, Future Epoch) – A genetically engineered soldier that launches a devastating, area-affect salvo of shells
• Persian Mercenary (Middle East Region, Ancient Epoch) – An ambidextrous warrior armed with a pair of lethal blades
• Urban Special Forces (West Region, Modern Epoch) – A highly disciplined, well-armed Urban Special Operations soldier

Mass Effect Goes Gold and Limited Collector’s Edition Details

Mass Effect has gone gold along with some preorder details.

Microsoft Game Studios and BioWare Corp. announced today that the highly anticipated action role-playing game (RPG) “Mass Effect” has gone gold, and will be offered in a limited collector’s edition. Additionally, an exclusive bonus disc will be offered to consumers who pre-order the game. The bonus disc is available at participating U.S. retailers while supplies last.

The limited collector’s edition will be offered through participating retailers, and will include the following bonus materials:

• “Mass Effect” fiction book titled “Galactic Codex: Essentials”
• 36-page guide to the “Mass Effect” universe, including a Citadel timeline and a guide to all non-human races, biotics and the key locations in the Perseus arm of the galaxy
• An additional “Mass Effect” art book titled “A Future Imagined”
• 36-page collection of BioWare’s concept art for the game

A bonus DVD of exclusive “Mass Effect” background material and additional content including:

• “The Vision of “Mass Effect” documentary
• “The Making of “Mass Effect” documentary

PC Gears Of War Goes Gold

Microsoft Game Studios announces the Games for Windows edition of Gears of War is gold, and the PC variant of Epic’s futuristic third-person shooter will be on North American shelves on November 6:

The Windows iteration of the massively popular and critically- acclaimed Xbox 360 blockbuster draws nigh; set to hit store shelves November 6th in North America.

Microsoft Game Studios announced today that the eagerly-awaited “Gears of War” for Windows has gone gold and will hit retailers throughout North America on November 6th.

With the Xbox 360 version of the game selling more than 4 million copies to date, “Gears of War” has been lauded by critics for its gripping campaign and fast-paced multiplayer action. Windows gamers can look forward to the “Gears of War” experience for the very first time, and will get to choose between doing battle via mouse and keyboard, or using the Windows-enabled Xbox 360 controller. From renowned developer Epic Games, “Gears of War” for Windows will engage gamers in hyper-realistic combat, allowing players to fight for survival against the Locust Horde, a nightmarish race of creatures that surface from the bowels of the planet.

In addition to retaining all of the content from its Xbox 360 counterpart and all previously released downloadable content (seven multiplayer maps and the Annex game mode), “Gears of War” for Windows will feature exciting original content, all-new Achievements to unlock, and ultra-high resolution visuals. Hellgate London Has Gone Gold And Demo Release Download

A Unofficial Hellgate London website is reporting Hellgate London has gone gold and a single player demo will be released tomorrow.

Demons of London beware… your reign of terror is coming to an end. Electronic Arts, Namco Bandai Games, and Flagship Studios are excited to announce that Hellgateâ„¢: London has gone to gold master and will be available exclusively for the PC on November 2nd in Europe.

“This has been an amazing journey for us and we couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve accomplished,” said Flagship Studios CEO, Bill Roper. “We’re anxious to get Hellgate: London into gamers’ hands and we can’t wait to play right along with them.”

And for gamers who can’t wait until November 2nd to get their Demon-slaying on, Flagship Studios is releasing a single player demo tomorrow, Thursday October 18th on AOL’s Game Daily (www.gamedaily.com). The demo will be available everywhere else from Friday.

The single player demo represents just a small taste of the Hellgate: London experience. Gamers can choose from two of the game’s six character classes: the Blademaster, a master of swordplay and action-packed melee combat, or the Marksman, a cool, calculating, long-range specialist. In the demo, these heroes are able to battle through a small handful of storyline and side quests as they adventure through the streets and tunnels around London’s Holborn Station.

And for gamers who can’t wait until Halloween to get their Demon-slaying on, Flagship Studios is releasing a singleplayer demo this Thursday, October 18th.

On a side note there is no mention of AOL’s Game Daily getting it today and everybody else getting it the 19th. I will update when we know more with demo download links.

TimeShift Has Gone Gold

Sierra announces that TimeShift is gold, and that Saber Interactive’s “M”-rated 4D shooter will ship on October 30. A PC demo was released last week, and there’s also demo on Xbox LIVE. Here’s word:

CDV Software Entertainment announces Tarr Chronicles is gold, and that Akella’s science fiction combat game is due in North American stores on September 24:
